Vision: as I mentioned in the comment that spurred me to write this, there is an upward vision here, a skyward push that is inspiring, as if to say, "follow that star!" For this, I felt a high mark was necessary.
Originality: I had to drop it some here because lots of people take flower shots. I think this one is slightly above average because of the vision section. In the photo, it feels as if the sunflowers are growing as I stare, and that doesn't catch me very often. I like when a photo feels like it breathes.
Technique: Again, a common subject, but also, to evoke the sensation of climbing and continuous growth, is above average. The clarity of the top-most flowers, again, brings an upward sensation.
Impact: As I previously stated, the upward, skyward drive in this image drew my eyes up, and that simple action can do lots for a person's perspective. It's inspriational, the branched upward movement. It makes me feel like I've gotten close to something sublime.
Overall I would say this moved me!
