The pretty snowflakes dance outside my window
The pretty snowflakes dance outside my window
Synchronizing along with the wind's melody
Synchronizing along with the wind's melody
The wind's synchronizing dance along pretty snowflakes
With the melody outside my window

Show me your jive as you frolic along my windowsill
Show me your jive as you frolic along my windowsill
There is deep meaning during your dance of pleasure in this wintertime
There is deep meaning during your dance of pleasure in this wintertime
Show me your windowsill jive during my wintertime
As you frolic along, there is deep meaning in this dance of your pleasure

Wind is cooing at every jump and twist you take
Wind is cooing at every jump and twist you take
Dream your waltz on with every whirl, little snowflake
Dream your waltz on with every whirl, little snowflake
Is every jump, twist, and whirl with waltz?
Little snowflake, you take on your dream at every cooing wind

Outside synchronizing me is the little snowflake pleasure
You dance my window, pretty frolic
There cooing every waltz, every jump of this wintertime
The wind's deep meaning along my windowsill is at your melody
Along with your whirl, with your jive, and during wind twist you dream
Take on as the show dance in snowflakes
This is a specific form of poetry called a "Paradelle." It originated in France, way back when. XD We just learned about it in my creative writing class the other day, and this was the assignment I turned in. Here is how a paradelle works:

It [paradelle] is a poem of four six-line stanzas in which the first and second lines, as well as the third and fourth lines of the first three stanzas, must be identical. The fifth and sixth lines, which traditionally resolve these stanzas, must use all the words from the preceding lines and only those words. Similarly, the final stanza must use every word from all the preceding stanzas and only these words.

So, as you may have guessed, this is a rather challenging form to write a poem. I kind of liked it though...it required more thinking than usual. And, the ending stanza rarely makes sense. That's a fun part too- trying to make sense in the last chunk when you only have certain words to work with.
