The branch takes away from the photo. It's an obnoxious object that distracts from the main focus, which I am going to assume is the landscape. The landscape looks as though its tilted ever so slightly, and it's bothering me a lot. Now let's pretend for a second that the branch was gone, and it was rotated properly. The image is a little boring. There's nothing significant in the foreground or background, and it's just empty and doesn't stand out. I would suggest looking at some beautiful, nearly perfect professional landscapes and seeing what they all have in common, then apply it to your own photos. The composition of landscape photos is a very difficult thing to get the hang of, but keep practicing! I hope this helps you.
